When Wolf Glass took this project on in Pasadena it stood out from the rest. All these windows were designed for heat transmission and accoustical purposes.
The dual glazed units included a green glass and a Low E glass which blocked all the heavy sunrays (UV) and heat out. This brings air-conditionining costs down dramatically and traps the heat in the winter to keep heating costs down.
As well, a laminated glass was incorporated to stop noise. Three pices of glass per pane. Noise from the main road was vurtually blocked out.
All windows went through vigorous water tests to prove water leaks were not a part of this system.
